Now available for public transit, refuse trucks and other medium duty vehicle applications are 16”, 21” and 25 Type IV – All Carbon Cylinders. Available in a variety of lengths, these cylinders are manufactured with a seamless non-metallic liner, full carbon fibre wrap and PU end caps for added drop protection.

When cost, weight and space savings are essential, these fully-composite cylinders are your ideal on-board storage solution. We offer strap or neck mounts as well as a variety of valves for versatile installation. TYPE IV – Hybrid Fiber Composite

The growing interest and demand in natural gas as a vehicular fuel and an alternative energy source for gasoline and diesel driven engines has created opportunity for new ideas and solutions. CP Industries has designed a line of Type IV cylinders for passenger and commercial vehicle on-board CNG storage. These cylinders are tested and qualified in accordance with ANSI/NGV2 (2007) and are FMVSS 304 compliant. Our Type IV on-board cylinders are manufactured with a non-metallic liner wrapped with carbon fiber and have a protective fiberglass overlay.

When weight savings with increased payload and vehicle range are essential, these fullycomposite cylinders are your ideal solution. They can be configured in a number of sizes, with or without valves and strap or neck mounts. Our cylinders are capable of high volume per weight ratio but still maintain high durability with safe operation of utmost concern.
